How to get to Linnanmäki

Linnanmäki is located in the Alppiharju district of Helsinki. The Main Gate is at Tivolikuja 1, which is on the Alppila side. We recommend that you use public transportation in order to avoid traffic jams and to reduce harmful emissions.


Arriving by city bike
The city bikes are a great way to get around the city centre. The closest city bike stations are located by the tram stop on Viipurinkatu under the name “Linnanmäki”, and by the Helsinginkatu and Sturenkatu junction under the name “Diakoniapuisto”. More information about the city bikes.

Arriving by tram and bus
Tram line 3 runs to the Linnanmäki Main Gate from the Helsinki railway station. Get off at the Linnanmäki pohj./Borgbacken norra stop.

Tram lines 1248 and 10 take you to the South Gate entrance (alight at the Linnanmäki etelä / Borgbacken södra).

By train
Travelling by train is an environmentally friendly way to come to Linnanmäki. All long-distance and local trains stop at the Pasila railway station. The walk to Linnanmäki along the pedestrian and cycle path alongside the railway track from Pasila is just around 1.4 km. You can also easily get to Linnanmäki from Pasila by bus number 23 (get off at the Linnanmäki/Borgbacken stop).

By Expressbus
Expressbus is an easy and inexpensive way to come to Linnanmäki. The EB busses from Lahti, Porvoo, Kotka and Kouvola stop right next to Linnanmäki at the Porvoonkatu express bus stop. See the EB schedules here.

Car parking
Parking space in the proximity of the Linnanmäki amusement park is very limited. Parking areas for cars can be found on the Alppila side, along Tivolitie Street. Accepted payment methods are coins, Credit and Debit cards, as well as the EasyPark and ParkMan services. Parking areas are subject to a charge 24 hours a day, on every day of the year. Parking areas are managed by EuroPark Finland Oy.

Bicycles and other small vehicles
Please leave your bicycle outside the amusement park. Bicycle stands are situated at the main gate and the southern gate. It is forbidden to use rollerskates, skateboards or hoverboards in the amusement park.
