What kind of ticket product do I need to participate in the Carnival of Light?
At the Carnival of Light, every visitor needs to have a pre-purchased wristband or Entrance ticket along with a seat reservation. The following ticket products are available for Carnival of Light in the webstore:
Carnival of Light 2023 Wristband + Entrance Ticket, 47 €
Carnival of Light Entrance Ticket 2023, 20 € (Entrance ticket do not grant access to the fun rides)
You will receive all ticket products directly to your email.
If you already have a wristband purchased previously, you must also reserve a free Carnival of Light Entrance Ticket – to the owner of wristband or wristband gift card from the webstore. This ticket is presented at the entrance gate along with your wristband.
If you arrive at the park with an Entrance Ticket and would like to enjoy the rides too, you can purchase a wristband from our ticket booths or most of the kiosks and cafes. In this case, In this case, the price of the wristband is reduced by the previously purchased Entrance ticket price of 20 €.
You can also purchase other ticket products such as ride tickets and game tickets within the amusement park.
Do I need to pre-book my visit to Linnanmäki if I want to come to the Carnival of Light?

If I purchase Carnival of Light Wristband from the webstore, do I need to buy an entrance ticket separately?
The Carnival of Light wristband includes an entrance ticket. You only need to choose the day you plan to visit the park. You will receive both the wristband and the entrance ticket in your email directly.
Does Season Fun include entry to the Carnival of Light?
It does! We have reserved some of our daily visitor quota for Season Fun passholders, so you don’t need to pre-book your visit. When you arrive at the park, please show your valid Season Fun account for the 2023 season. You can pick up the wristband from the information booth.
Do I need to show the wristbands when I arrive at Linnanmäki?
Yes, the pre-purchased Wristband/gift card and your free Entrance Ticket will be shown upon arrival at Linnanmäki. Please note that in addition to purchasing a wristband you must also reserve a free Carnival of Light Entrance Ticket – to the owner of wristband or wristband gift card from the webstore
How do I reserve a visit to the Carnival of Light?
Through Linnanmäki’s webstore. First, select "Carnival of Light – Wristband + Entrance Ticket" or if you already have a wristband, choose "Carnival of Light Entrance Ticket – to the owner of wristband or wristband gift card." When making the reservation, you should choose the day of your visit.
By purchasing the Carnival of Light wristband, you will receive an order confirmation that allows you to download both tickets, the Wristband, and the Entrance Ticket. You can download the tickets by clicking on the "Download your purchased product here" link. After that, both tickets will appear directly on your screen.
I have pre-purchased a wristband from the S-Group. Is it valid during the Carnival of Light?
Yes, it is valid! You only have to reserve a free Entrance Ticket for the Carnival of Light via Linnanmäki’s webstore.
I have received a wristband gift card. Is it valid during the Carnival of Light?

Can I update my wristband for the next day during the Carnival of Light?
Unfortunately it is not possible to update your wristband during the Carnival of Light.
Can I buy an Evening Wristband during the Carnival of Light?
Evening Wristbands are not available during the Carnival of Light.
I need a personal assistant / I work as a personal assistant. How do we proceed at the Carnival of Light?
A customer needing assistance can either buy a Wristband for 47 € or an Entrance ticket 20 € in the webstore. The assistant, on the other hand, can make a reservation with the free Entrance ticket in the webstore and write ASSISTANT in the additional information field. Please note that in accordance with Linnanmäki's assistant wristband policy, the need for an assistant is verified with an EU disability card with an A marking. Both the assistant and the assisted get wristbands from the service points at the gates.
I tried to book a ticket for the Carnival of Light, but the day cannot be selected on the webstore. Why is that?
You may have selected a product in the webstore that is meant for visits outside of the Carnival of Light, such as the Day Fun Wristband. Please make sure to choose a product specifically for the Carnival of Light, such as Carnival of Light Wristband.
